Registration Fees

The registration fees vary dictated by different four attendance levels. Registration Fees are displayed in US Dollars and are inclusive of applicable taxes and administrative fees.

Note for Category 3 & Category 4:

  1. To register as a non-governmental/non-profit organisation/social enterprise, you must present official profile and documentation. If you fail to present proper identification confirming your current status at the Registration Area during your delegate registration process, you will be charged the full Category 1 registration fee on the spot, and will not be eligible for any refund.
  2. To register as a student, you must be enrolled/worked full-time in a university or college at the time of the MPMB2013, and must present official identification/academic designation. If you fail to present proper identification confirming your current status at the Registration Area during your delegate registration process, you will be charged the full Category 3 registration fee on the spot, and will not be eligible for any refund.

MPMB2013 Secured Online Registrations

The MPMB summit online registration is secured by Web Server Certificate. Transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption, offering the highest level of encryption and security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and this site’s web servers are private and secure. Credit card information will not be stored by the website. Types of Payments Are Accepted for MPMB Registration Fees

Malaysian Delegates: Crossed cheque made payable to MYPLACE MYBRAND SUMMIT, or Bank Wire Transfer, or Credit Card via Paypal

International Delegates: Credit Card via Paypal, or Bank Wire Transfer

Accepted Payment Methods through Online Registration

  • Credit Card: The Online Registration accepts Visa, Discover, Amex and MasterCard credit cards through Paypal. Credit Card (in US Dollars only) is the preferred method of payment.
  • Wire Transfer: For international wire transfers, you can proceed with the Online Registration, or alternatively you can download the offline registration form, indicate on the form that you are paying by wire transfer, and email the scanned copy of the completed offline registration form and bank remittance advice to [email protected] Upon confirmation of the remittance, the Summit Secretariat will proceed with the registration procedure and the delegate will be informed accordingly. Any bank charges by intermediate bank must be borne by the delegate. Deadline for payment by bank wire transfer is 48 hours after registration. Failing which, we will cancel your registration with immediate effect. Please clearly indicate the name of the delegate and MPMB2013 in all your bank remittances. The Summit Secretariat should receive the exact amount of registration fees. If not, the delegate has to pay the balance due at the Registration Area. Therefore, the delegate has to add US$ 5-10 for the international transaction cost. Any addition received will be reimbursed at the Registration Area.


Single Registrations are accepted via online registration and for CPW + 3 package by contacting [email protected] through registration form.


Registration fees DO NOT include accommodation of business class.

Certificate of Attendance

All registered delegates can collect their Certificate of Attendance at the Registration Area on the 2nd floor of the Putrajaya International Convention Centre as of 30th October 2013 after 6:00pm.

Certificate of Award Nomination Accreditation

All certified award nominees can collect their Certificate of Award Nomination at the World Sense of Place Awards Secretariat on the Ground Floor PICC on the 30th October 2013 after 6.00pm.

Confirmation of Registrations

Upon confirmation and receipt of your registration payment, you will receive a personalised confirmation and invoice by email which includes a letter of invitation, and the link to an online form for airfare discount code booking details with Qatar Airways, dietary requirement, accommodation details, visa application assistance if applicable, and arrival time for airport transfer. Also, you will be able to print out your seat e-ticket.

Approximately two weeks before the Summit you will receive an email including your personalized identification barcode (for fast and easy Summit access) as well as all other logistical details and important Summit information.

Replacement & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations of confirmed registrations are subject to an administrative charge of US$ 10 provided the cancellation is received before August 30, 2013. For cancellations received after this date no refunds will be made. All cancellations must be made in writing to the Registration Unit ([email protected]) and refunds after deduction of administrative charge will be made after the Summit by 30th November 2013. Substitutions/replacements are accepted any time prior to the start of the summit (October 2013) at no additional cost. Replacements (= delegate name change) of a confirmed registration may be made until October 27, 2013 free of charge.


Please be advised that all rebates will be made in cash and to be transacted through bank wire transfer by October 31, 2013. During your delegate registration at the Registration Area, delegates will be given a form for bank remittance details.

Letter of Invitation

A letter of invitation will be sent to confirm your attendance to attend the Summit. Such an invitation is extended specifically to assist delegates to obtain travel funds, appropriate visas, approvals, sponsorship or official leave. It does not imply a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any support, financial or otherwise. Upon confirmation of your registration payment, you will be receiving an official letter of invitation.

Student Discounts

Yes, MPMB2013 is committed to supporting students engaged in higher education in the field of sense of place. To encourage students to take advantage of the learning and networking opportunities through the MPMB2013, we offer the Place Champion Programme and volunteer option for students.

To be able to register for the programme, you can proceed to email [email protected] and you will need to be able to provide proof of being enrolled in a university or college programme at the time of the summit registration.


The World Sense of Place Summit – MYPLACE MYBRAND (MPMB), World Sense of Place Awards (WSOP Awards), and Creating Place Wealth Conference & Expo (CPW) are events of the Regeneration Collaborative. Regeneration Collaborative exists to provide a globally relevant platform for place-based professionals, specialists, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders in the sense of place industry, offering meetings, workshops, plenary sessions and a trade fair that promotes the exchange of ideas, knowledge, expertise, products and services. Regeneration Collaborative is committed to maintaining the highest standards for its activities and a strict code of professional practices designed to further the interests of the sense of place industry worldwide.

Code of Business Ethics

Regeneration Collaborative applies the following Code of Business Ethics to all participating organizations and individuals. Organisations and individuals must act to further the interests of the sense of place industry. Participating organisations and individuals may not, except by explicit agreement with the organisers, have any outstanding debts to Regeneration Collaborative.

Protected Trade Environment

Regeneration Collaborative reserves the right to define its protected trade environment. This will normally extend to all parts of the summit venue wherein trading activity transpires, including, but not limited to, meeting and exhibition space and all official and non-official functions.


Advertising is permitted within the stand/booth hired by the exhibitor or where expressly agreed in writing by Regeneration Collaborative. Only official sponsors may use event sponsorship vehicles for advertising, unless expressly agreed in writing by Regeneration Collaborative.

Photographs, Film and Video Recordings

Regeneration Collaborative is entitled to take photographs, make films or video recordings of events during the summit, and use these for advertising purposes or for publication in the media. If photographs or video footage taken by delegates contains images of speakers, summit delegates or trade visitors other than themselves, or their work colleagues, explicit written permission must be obtained from both Regeneration Collaborative and the parties depicted therein, before they can be published in any media.

Intellectual Property

The name, logo, images, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights of MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW shall remain vested in its owner Regeneration Collaborative. Any unauthorised use of the MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW logo, mailing lists, commercial information or other intellectual property is prohibited. Any unauthorised use of the MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW name or event to promote organisations, programmes or other event is prohibited and may result in exclusion from attendance by Regeneration Collaborative and legal action.

Payment Terms

Payment is due on date of registration or as stated on invoice. Registration is valid and complete only upon receipt of payment in full. Participation and inclusion in the official programmes and other publications are only confirmed upon such receipt. Advertising, sponsorship and exhibition space are confirmed only when registration is complete and upon timely submission of exhibition request and artwork when required.


Regeneration Collaborative may apply at its own discretion, the following sanctions to any violation of its Application and Participation Conditions or part there of written warning; or expulsion from the event with immediate effect; or barring from MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW for one or more subsequent years.

Waiver of these Application and Participation Conditions

Regeneration Collaborative reserves the right to waive any of its Application and Participation Conditions if such waiver is deemed to “further the interests of stakeholders in the sense of place industry”. Any such waiver is at the sole discretion of the Regeneration Collaborative management.

Changes to these Application and Participation Conditions

Regeneration Collaborative reserve the right to change its Application and Participation Conditions from time to time. Any such changes will be reflected on the MPMB website under Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of registered organisations and delegates to be aware of the Application and Participation Conditions under effect at the time of their registration and participation.


It is agreed that neither Regeneration Collaborative nor any of its employees, officers, Directors, Secretariat members, or volunteers shall have any liability or responsibility for any personal injury, property damage or other loss suffered by a delegate or any of his/her family members or other persons attending the summit with the delegate resulting from the action or inaction of any person other than an employee of Regeneration Collaborative.

In the event of, or likelihood of, any circumstance which may create an extraordinary risk of injury or damage, Regeneration Collaborative shall have the right at its sole discretion to determine the course of action to be followed in respect to the MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW. In the event that Regeneration Collaborative cancels or limits the summit for reasons of safety, neither Regeneration Collaborative nor any of its officers, directors, members or employees shall have any liability or responsibility in connection with such cancelation or limitation and their failure to perform any further obligations attendant to the MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW, shall not constitute a breach of contract on the part of Regeneration Collaborative to hold such events.

This delegate registration, shall serve as an agreement between Regeneration Collaborative and the delegate, and shall indicate that the above Application and Participation Conditions of this Summit Registration Agreement have been read and understood by the delegate.

It is expressly noted that Regeneration Collaborative cooperates with Qatar Airways and hotels in connection with the summit to assist delegates in arranging for air transportations and accommodations, but all agreements regarding such air transportation is entered into directly between the Qatar Airways and the delegates. Any accommodation arrangement before 28th October and after 1st November is entered into directly between the respective hotels and the delegates. Regeneration Collaborative bears no responsibility for such agreements and cannot in any way be held liable towards delegates for any breach committed by such airline/hotels to be sent to lawyer.


I confirm that I have read, understood and accept, the MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW Application and Participation Conditions upon completion of the MPMB Delegate Registration. I accept that Regeneration Collaborative has the right to ask any delegate to leave MPMB, WSOP Awards, and CPW without refund or explanation, if they are in breach of its Application and Participation Conditions.

For reasons beyond their control, MBMP2013 and Regeneration Collaborative have the right to immediately alter or cancel the Summit or any arrangements, schedules, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to MPMB13. The delegates shall not be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancelation. Furthermore, with the exception of any wilful damage or gross negligence committed by MPMB2013, MPMB2013 and Regeneration Collaborative will not at any time be liable for any direct or indirect damage suffered by the delegates, including consequential and immaterial damage, caused by failure to comply with any provision of this information.
